Subject:Charles' Law Lab
Mr. Powers, I am really stuck on this lab! I just don't know what to do. My lab partner and I did 3 trials and I created a data table from the information we got. I understand the principles of Charles' Law, but I am not sure how to use the data in relation to mathmatical caluculations we were instructed to do. Also, I am not quite sure what to write for the conclusion. Thankyou for all of your hard work in trying to help us gain more knowledge in the laboratory - I guess I just got really stuck this time!:)

Subject:Predicting Reaction Products
First, regarding our homework, do you want us to use symbols when predicting reaction products? Also,on the lab, when a product is found to be H2O (water), what is its symbol? Is it (aq) for aqueous? I had the same trouble with MgO. Is MgO (s) for solid? Also, is it necessary to memorize the entire activity series?

Im typing up my analysis data for this lab and i had two questions about it, sorry, the first is how do you find theoretical percentage, and what exactly is the starting mass.

Which is more stable...Nitrogen or Oxygen? Or in other words, which element reacts more readily?

Subject:hybridization question
In the practice test chapter 6 number 78: The hybridized orbitals responsible for the bent shape of the water molecule are sp3. We were unable to explain how oxygen would hybridize when its valence is 2s2 2p4? Also, how would hybridization effect shape, that's related to lone pairs, correct? Thanks, The Varners

Well Mr. Powers I'm trying to take the practice test for Chapter 5 and the link will not show me the questions nor the answers. How am I able to take this and have the homework done for tonight? ~Morgen
